Desk product terms

Effective date: September 13, 2026 · Last updated: September 14, 2026

Draft for review. Prepared for TurnNet Labs LLC product use. Not legal advice. Have a qualified attorney review before relying on it for compliance or enforcement.

1. Products covered

These terms apply to OpenDesk (/desk) for insurance agencies and Labs Desk (/labs-desk) for TurnNet Labs LLC operations (together, the “Desk Products”), sold or operated by TurnNet Labs LLC (“TurnNet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Protocol / token testnet use is also governed by the site Terms of Use. OpenDesk privacy: Privacy Policy. Security overview: Trust.

2. Pricing (OpenDesk)

$29/month per named user, flat. Extra named users are the same $29/month. Pay a full year and the total is 10% off ($313.20 per user).

14-day free trial. No card required to start. You create an agency in the desk and use the full product for 14 days. When the trial ends, a paywall appears — subscribe with Stripe (monthly or annual) to keep access. There is no automatic charge until you complete checkout. Monthly and annual plans renew until canceled.

Optional add-ons (when offered) — for example branded video Meet or inbound caller screen-pop — are billed separately as shown in Agency at purchase time. Free click-to-call / text / WhatsApp / Google Meet helpers described below are included in the base desk and do not require those add-ons.

Optional Node (no discount). If you turn on the OpenDesk Node switch, this computer may run TurnNet network checks in the background for TurnNet Labs LLC. Opt-in only. OpenDesk price stays $29 per named user / month either way. Not miner credits or cash payout. Off by default.

3. Accounts

Sign-in. Each named user signs in with a work email and password. Guest and anonymous access are not permitted. Two-step verification (authenticator) is required for Labs Desk and is required on OpenDesk before Canopy / Zapier / rater export of client data. See Trust & security and Privacy Policy.

No shared logins. One person may be signed in on a named user at a time. Extra people need their own seat with their own email and password.

4. Third-party contact and meeting tools

Desk Products may include shortcuts that open third-party apps or websites using contact details you store (for example phone or email on a client/customer file). These shortcuts are convenience features. TurnNet does not operate, host, or resell those third-party services as TurnNet-branded telecom or video products unless a separate paid add-on expressly says so.

  • Call — uses a standard tel: link to open the device’s phone dialer.
  • Text — uses a standard sms: link to open the device’s messaging app.
  • WhatsApp — opens WhatsApp (or WhatsApp Web) via publicly documented click-to-chat links (for example wa.me). WhatsApp is a product of Meta Platforms, Inc. TurnNet is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a partner of Meta unless separately stated in writing.
  • Google Meet (free path) — opens Google’s Meet product in the user’s browser/Google account. Google Meet is a product of Google LLC. TurnNet is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a partner of Google unless separately stated in writing.
  • Branded Meet (optional paid add-on) — when purchased, may create a meeting room through TurnNet’s chosen video provider(s) under that provider’s terms. Availability depends on the add-on remaining active and the provider remaining available.
  • Screen-pop / telephony (optional paid add-on) — when purchased, may use providers such as Twilio under that provider’s terms. You are responsible for lawful configuration of numbers and webhooks.

Your responsibility. You (the agency or workspace operator) are solely responsible for:

  • Having a lawful basis to store and use phone numbers, emails, and other contact data
  • Obtaining and honoring any required consent before calling, texting, or messaging (including U.S. TCPA and similar laws where they apply)
  • Complying with each third party’s terms of service and acceptable-use rules
  • Content of messages, calls, and meetings you start

Consent flags or notes inside the Desk Products are tools to help your team; they do not guarantee legal compliance.

Trademarks. Google, Google Meet, WhatsApp, Meta, Twilio, and other third-party names are trademarks of their respective owners. Use of those names is for identification only.

5. Data and product limits

The book/workspace may live on the buyer’s computer and/or sync options you enable. OpenDesk is not a HIPAA-certified vault. Card-on-file in the desk stores last 4 and expiry only where that feature is used. OpenDesk is not a live carrier rater — quotes are entered by the agency. Evidence of Insurance / COI features (OpenDesk) are agency documents, not ACORD forms, binders, or policies.

6. Disclaimers

DESK PRODUCTS AND THIRD-PARTY SHORTCUTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TURNNET LABS LLC DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that third-party apps (phone, Messages, WhatsApp, Google Meet, etc.) will be available, compatible with your device, or free of their own outages or policy changes.
